The next report is around the Malaysian Environmental Insurance plan which was designed to safeguard kinds of living conditions and to showcase sustainability as its prime aim. Malaysia, one of the 'Asian tiger' economies, has appreciated remarkable expansion over the last few decades, with industrialization, agriculture and tourism playing leading functions in this success story. But today, despite a positive environmental record, Malaysia faces challenges of deforestation, pollution of inland and marine waters, soil and coastal erosion, overfishing and coral saltwater destruction, along with air pollution, water pollution as well as the problem of waste disposal. Deforestation refers to losing or destruction of naturally occurring forests, generally due to human activities including logging, trimming trees intended for fuel, slash-and-burn agriculture, eradicating land intended for livestock grazing, mining procedures, oil extraction, dam building, and urban sprawl or perhaps other types of development and population expansion. In order to avoid them coming from happening, policy regarding to the environment has been the main target to prevent bad activities via being used.
